Why Marriage?
For us, marriage is a vow, a binding commitment that will guide us through the inevitable challenges life brings. It provides a title that truly reflects the depth of our connection and the future we envision together. A wedding, then, is a celebration of our love and commitment, shared with our closest community. It is an opportunity to ask for their support as we begin this journey together, with the hope of living a long, happy life. Along the way, the wedding planning process is allowing us to reflect on what marriage means to us and what we want it to symbolize in our lives. For those reasons, our wedding will be intimate, solemn, and joyful, marking the beginning of this meaningful new chapter.

Need-to-Know
Here are the main details for our special day:
Schedule: The wedding ceremony, cocktail and dinner will happen on the 13th of September, 2025, from 4:00pm to 2am. We will also have a brunch on the 14th of September, 2025, from 11am to 2pm, to end our weekend together.
Location and accommodations: All events will take place within the grounds of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, and all guests will have a complementary room at the Hôtel de Fontevraud l'Ermitage for the night of the 13th of September. Attire: Your attire should fit within the theme of the wedding: “timeless and whimsical”. In other words, something elegant with a touch of fantasy! See more details here. But first and foremost, wear something that you feel comfortable in. Also keep in mind that at this time of the year, the temperature can range from 50°F to 77°F, so layers may be a good idea.
