Included in your Invitation was one of 38 unique linoleum prints Leo made as a gift for you, commemorating this joyous occasion.
This page documents the journey that piece took.
Leo wanted to carve a custom linoleum block and make prints. From left to right, the reference photo, taken at the wedding venue at Fontevraud, the initial sketch, and the second draft.
From left to right, the initial block carving went well, but the results were too busy and we decided to try again, carving a brand new block.
With the second block finished, we rolled the ink, placed each paper, and began making the prints.
In all, we made 38 prints. After titling and numbering them, we packaged them up and sent them to you!
