
Directions
All events will take place within the grounds of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, and all guests will have a complementary room at the Hôtel de Fontevraud l'Ermitage for the night of the 13th of September Adresse : 38 Rue Saint-Jean de L’Habit, 49590 Fontevraud-l’Abbaye.
Getting to the Abbey
From Paris, you can take a train to Saumur (~1h30 to 2h30), then a bus, a taxi, or a carpool to Fontevraud-l’Abbaye (~15 minutes). You can book your train ticket on the SNCF website, check the bus schedule on the Ogalo urban network site (tickets are to be purchased on-site), find a taxi on the Pages Jaunes directory, and book a carpool through the Karos or Blablacar apps. We will also create a carpool link for guests (by June 30).
By car, Fontevraud is 15 minutes from Saumur, 55 minutes from Tours, 1 hour from Angers, 1h55 from Nantes, and 3h15 from Paris. A charging station is available for Fontevraud L'Ermitage guests.

At the Abbey
Main Entrance: Upon your arrival at the Abbey, you must enter here. You will access the Hotel parking lot via Rue Saint-Jean de l’Habit. An intercom at the gate will connect you to the hotel reception. You will be able to inform their team if you need assistance with your luggage. Park your vehicle, if any. To reach the hotel, simply pass through the stone archway and follow the main path, marked with red dashed lines on the map.
Pedestrian Entrance: Once you have your room key, you can enter through here.
